Happy birthday ham and bourbon! Southern Art and Bourbon Bar is celebrating three years! From Mon, Oct.13 through Wed, Oct.15, dinner guests at Southern Art and Bourbon Bar will have the opportunity to win exclusive prizes such as two tickets to “Dinner with Toki,” a new mixologist dinner series featuring head mixologist Toki Sears (FUN!) or a bottle of one of Bourbon Bar’s private label bourbons along with a private ham and bourbon tasting for four. To celebrate, guests dining in the main room on Friday, October 17 for dinner will receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco and cake. FOR REALZ! And just so you know, OpenTable diners even voted Ink & Elm as one of the “Top 100 Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in America” in 2014 (one of only two Atlanta restaurants on the list). That’s a heck of a year…

Thanksgiving at the Ritz, Dahling! We love…LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ritz, and if either of us were going to be in ATL for Thanksgiving you could find us there sipping on bloody marys. Because turkey. They are serving Thanksgiving Brunch in the Atlanta Ballroom (glam) and #nomnom highlights include artisan breads and regional cheese selections, a butcher block selection featuring Pomegranate-Glazed Roasted Turkey with brioche, Roasted Garlic Sea Salt-Crusted Bone-in Prime Rib, and a dessert station featuring a chocolate fountain, Gingersnap Cranberry Orange Cheesecake, Chocolate Bon Bons, Pistachio Madeline and more.

Eat good, feel good, do good! Buttermilk Kitchen, our BELOVED brunch spot, is hosting a Fancy Fried Chicken Dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 12th, at 6pm, with all profits going to local nonprofit organization Bert’s Big Adventure. If you haven’t heard of BBA they provide all-expenses paid trips to Disney World for Atlanta-area children with chronic or terminal illnesses, and their families. The dinner is priced at $48.50 per person and reservations can be made by emailing info@buttermilkkitchen.com.

Mark you calendars, folks! The inaugural Highland Restaurant Week kicks off on Sat., Oct 18 and goes through Sat., Oct 25. We LOVE the Highlands and are so excited to see the menus.
