- Atlanta Eats Live is on Sunday! From 5-10pm, join the Peachtree Roadies at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre LIVE music, LIVE cooking demos, and LIVE rock star chefs. Attendees will eat and drink from 40 handpicked restaurants and enjoy great live & local music. The event also benefits the restaurant community – with a portion of proceeds going to The Giving Kitchen charity. Get your tickets here.
- Atlanta has a new brewery in town! Second Self Beer Company opened its doors this week and is throwing launch parties all over the city to debut the new brews. Check out their event listing to see where you can pick up their new launch ales around Atlanta. I can’t wait to get my hands on the Thai Wheat and the LIPA!
- Bantam + Biddy in Ansley Mall turns 2! Join in on the celebration on with their anniversary party and fall festival from noon to 3pm on Sunday, October 5 complete with live music. Garnish & Gather, Jb Farm Fresh Eggs, Nottingham Nectar and Tiny Buffalo Baking Co. will be in attendance at the eatery’s festival. Can’t make it on Sunday? Celebrations continue with Oktoberfest specials at the restaurant for the entire month of October!
- The fall schedule for the Simple Abundance Cooking Classes at Cook’s Warehouse has been released, featuring chefs from STK, The Optimist, Diner, Coast and more! The Atlanta Community Food Bank’s “Simple Abundance Cooking Class” series provides an opportunity to interact with Atlanta’s best chefs in The Cook’s Warehouse state-of-the-art kitchens. You’ll learn the secrets of exquisite dishes, have fun, and help feed Atlanta’s hungry all at the same time! 100% of class tuition benefits the Food Bank.
