What’s missing from this equation: Your favorite barre class + your favorite people + amazing cocktails + delicious food? The answer: NOTHING!
We’re talking about Peachtree Roadies #BarAtTheBarre at Pink Barre!
We put together an amazing guest list of women, including fellow bloggers Supper Club of the South, Buckhead Betty on a Budget, Peaches to Pearls, Floating Along, and Sometimes, Always, Never, and brought them together for a fun afternoon of fitness followed by cocktails (duh! It wouldn’t be a Peachtree Roadies event without amazing drinks) and delicious snacks.
We kicked off the afternoon with a signature Pink Barre class taught by Sarah, who is both a physical therapist and a fitness expert (no cheating or poor form allowed!)
Finding time to workout and stay fit is difficult – we heard that from all the women at the barre. But in the same conversation we also heard how much fun they were having getting together and how awesome it is to combine working out, happy hour AND social hour! WOOHOO!
The Pink Barre method is rooted in science and incorporates many different disciplines. The small, isometric muscle movements target the most common problem spots: thighs, abs, glutes (ooooh the glutes…) and the back of the arms. They combine that with cardio to keep your heart rate up and burn pesky calories.
Let’s be real, fitness is SERIOUS business around here.
And while we come for the workout (and the seriously cute pink mats), we stay for the community! Tara, the founder, is tirelessly committed to creating a supportive community to inspire and empower women to live a strong life, all while tucking, pulsing and smiling 🙂
And to celebrate that pro-woman spirit, we wanted to provide our guests with an equally empowering experience AFTER the workout: enter Vixen Vodka and the after party!
Vixen Vodka was conceived after a particularly boozy girls’ trip to St. Simons Island in Georgia (yay for local female entrepreneurs!) The founders wanted to create something that would make a difference in their lives – and why not follow their passion – a great cocktail? They want to pay it forward and empower other women to take a chance on their dreams and big ideas, too. We were so glad to have them there!
Finally, no good party is complete without amazing food! Maki Fresh was kind enough to provide delicious sushi and filling sliders to help us recover and revive our shaking and aching muscles!
Thank you so much to Tori Allen PR for connecting all of these wonderful women and making sure everything went off without a hitch!
***AND, we are so excited that Tara is letting us giveaway a complimentary class at Pink Barre for one of our readers! Enter here and we’ll see you at the barre!***
