We’re all about “fests” here in Atlanta. So far this year, we’ve been to fests featuring beer, bacon, spring, art, and now we’re celebrating summer this weekend with the 31st Annual Virginia Highlands Summerfest.
It’s been a couple years since I’ve attend Summerfest, but it is one of my favorite events in Atlanta complete with an artist’s market (great for finding local gifts), live music, and plenty of food and drink to enjoy (minus when it’s 100 degrees outside). Plus, if you’re interested in being particularly active, there is a 5k on Saturday morning and a cycling race on Sunday morning. And, if you live in the ViHi neighborhood, there are special events just for you.
If you’re around this weekend, it’s sure to be a swell time! More information is below and you can check out the Facebook page for up-to-the-minute deets. Enjoy!
