I can’t wait to celebrate the Third Annual Peachtree Hills Festival of the Arts this weekend! This festival has special meaning to team Daws because we bought each other our first anniversary gift there! This painting struck us right away because it reminded us of our honeymoon in the BVIs. We hadn’t intended to make a big purchase that day, so we had to run back to our house (which was about .2 miles away – and we literally ran) to get $$ to make sure that painting didn’t get scooped up from under our noses.
The two-day festival will bring 125 artists to our lovely shady, tree-lined Peachtree neighborhood. They also have acoustic music and local food and drinks (some of our favs include Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q, Mobile Marlay, Texas Tacos & the King of Pops) – plus pets are welcome! Bocephus made a fool of himself last year, knocked over a booth, spilled SEVERAL dog water dishes and jammed his nose into more humans than I want to share – but as far as I know he is invited back again this year.
More information is below. See you there!
